They had to drop the native resolution just to get the fps and the look of Mario Kart 8 as it is now, it would probably play terrible if you tried gamepad as 1 player. Also the fact that you can't play with 1 player on gamepad.can't people grasp the fact that with that graphical fidelity on a console, you aren't always able to have your cake and eat it too. It is an underdog and underrated title, much more technical than Mario Kart but Mario Kart isn't trying to be that, it's a straight up arcade racer. Sonic racing is great, it's more competitive and is much more balanced. If we compare the Wii U versions, Mario Kart 8 wins because it's the newer and fresher one. I mean, if Mario Kart 8 was on a PC.imagine how ahead it would be, graphically and content.
